There is a very interesting article in today's Racing Post about Mary Bromiley.  Brough Scott has written the piece and he talks to Mary about her career and her recent award of an MBE in the New Year's Honours List.  Mary is the leading authority on equine physiotherapy and she looks after all of our horses as well as some of the staff.  She is a quiet and unassuming but brilliant lady and the piece is well worth a read.

Guernsey Race Club are offering travel incentives for it's Monday2nd May meeting.  Last year both Gary Moore and David Evans had winners at the track which used to be a golf course - I think all they have done is fill in all the bunkers and take out all the flags!  I'm only joking of course, Guernsey is a lovely place and I used to play table tennis there in my younger days at a nice hotel called Government House.  That was a long time ago and it has probably been pulled down and replaced by holiday apartments since then.

Talking of racing abroad, I see that there was an advertisement for a senior professional steward in Cyprus in yesterday's paper.  The successful applicant will be based in Nycosia - I have been racing there with MCP and it was extremely hot, but the locals are certainly very enthusiastic.

I noticed an advertisement in the Racing Post for a car registration plate which is obviously supposed to have some sort of racing connotation.  The plate is OTP 22 - I haven't a clue what it is supposed to mean...am I being thick, or can someone tell me?
