              Happy Birthday MCP!
There are six meetings today, flat cards at Windsor, Chelmsford, Leicester and Redcar plus jumps cards at Huntingdon and Cartmel.  Tom Scu and David Noonan both have rides at Huntingdon but David does not have any runners today.  It was a good day for the yard at Ffos Las on Saturday evening.  Delface won the first race for this coming season on his debut for Pond House.  He jumped well and won by just over 3 lengths.  The rain softened ground probably helped and he should be able to follow up.  Three Star General was another to run well to finish second.  He was beaten less than 4 lengths by Positively Dylan and if he can produce that form next time he should have no problem in going one better.  Bambi Du Noyer was only beaten a neck by Alyas Emperor and they were clear of the third.  He surely is another winner waiting to happen.  Tis What It Is finished third on his racecourse debut and can surely only improve for the experience.

It is nice that the horses appear to be in form over the weekend after a bit of a quiet time.  The horses at Uttoxeter ran well again.  Prospera Pascha finished third and Sadlers Gold finished second, only beaten a head.  It looks like he is waiting to win, maybe over a slightly longer trip.  Let's just hope the handicapper does not but him up too much.  Ballynagour was badly hampered and got rid of Tom Scu at the third last.

I see that the stewards fined jockey Sam Twiston-Davies £290 for using is mobile phone outside of a designated area at Uttoxeter yesterday.  That would have taken away some of his winning prize money he earnt for riding a double!  I wonder if the call was worth it!

I nearly forgot it is MCP's birthday today!  Britain's winning-most jumps trainer is very old, I won't say how old, but shh don't tell him I said that!  Happy Birthday Martin - I look forward to celebrating with you later!

Swedish golfer Alex Noren shot a new course record of 62 to win the Championship at Wentworth.  I don't think he will ever putt as well again he had a sensational round of golf.

Sign language, it's very handy.  Have a nice day.
