There are just two meetings today and they are both jumps cards at Fakenham and Perth.  David does not have any runners but Tom Scu has a couple of rides at Fakenham.  The best of these looks to be Eyes of a Tiger who was a winner last time out.  There is good prize money on offer and it is a shame with £13,000 it looks like there will only be three runners.  I keep moaning about prize money so it is a real shame that when tracks but a decent prize up for grabs that it is not well supported.

I watched Matt Chapman giving and interview on board a merry go round at Epsom on Friday,  He was sitting on one of those horses who go round and round, up and down.  He seems to be getting louder if that is even possible!  I suppose it helps the TV coverage?!

It must be fantastic to be able to watch a horse run and then just decide that you are going to buy it.  Well that is exactly what Godolphin did.  They bought Sandy Lane stakes winner Harry Angel.  It is good news that it stays with trainer Clive Cox.  MCP and myself were shown around Clive Cox's yard.  It is a good set up owned by John Francome - in fact it is Francome's back yard!  Just think he must wake up every morning and think I have already earned a few quid!

I see that Arsene Wenger is trying to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester.  He is also trying to keep contract rebels Ozil and Sanchez.  I think it is easy to keep them, offer them £300,000 a week.  Wenger talks about loyalty, it is the money that talks!

I hear they are trying to get baseball off the ground in England.  They are going to stage a game in Hyde Park on July 4th.  It will feature retired Boston Red Sox amd LA Dodger players.  It seems like a grown up rounders to me!

My fear of insomnia keeps me awake at night!
