Today we have five flat cards at Redcar, Lingfield, Southwell, Chelmsford and Musselburgh.  Yesterday I was talking about people having expensive wees and there was an even more expensive one at Ascot yesterday.  Fighting Irish finished fourth at Ascot and would have picked up £4,288 in prize money but jockey Stevie Donohoe weighed in two pounds light after going for a wee after weighing out for the race.  It must have been a big wee!

There is a 1m3f claimer at Southwell today which initially I thought looked interesting but having looked through the runners I see that the youngest horse is eight years old!  Mind you the most expensive horse can be claimed for £7,000.  At last we are going to see some jumping action back tomorrow.  There is a hunter chase evening at Cheltenham tomorrow night.  I always say go to Aintree on Ladies day and now I am saying go to Cheltenham on Hunters day!  Most of the crowd will be dressed in bright tweeds and silly hats but it is a great atmosphere and well worth a visit.

Liverpool lost 4-2 to Roma in the Champions League last night but go through to the final 7-6 on aggregate.  Roma made them sweat a bit with a late come back but they now face Real Madrid in the final in Kiev on 26th May.  Liverpool will definitely have to tighten up their defence otherwise Ronaldo will tear them apart.

In the boxing, Bellew and Haye are really building up the pubilicity ahead of their re-match on Saturday.  Bellew says he will not shake Haye's hand after the fight!  Look at all the money they will earn from this fight and a nice bit of banter beforehand certainly adds some interest.

It looks like cricketer James Anderson will be playing his first match of the season for Lancashire against Somerset tomorrow.  England need him back 100% fit.

Crystal balls...I don't know what people see in them!  Have a nice day.
