First Lord De Cuet is For Sale

David was up at Cheltenham sales yesterday and we got three exciting new recruits to the yard.  One is looking for a new owner!  First Lord De Cuet is a four year old by Lord Du Soud and he won an Irish point to point on his debut only last weekend.  He comes from the family of Madison Du Berlais who won the Hennessy for David and was a very good.  He is super looking and very athletic and showed great determination to win at Inchydoney.  For more information about this fantastic prospect please call the office on 01884 840715 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Today we have six meetings, flat cards at Epsom, Catterick, Doncaster, Goodwood and Bath plus a jumps card at Market Rasen.  Today we have two runners at Market Rasen, Impulsive American and Red Square Revival.  Impulsive American runs in the 3.35pm handicap hurdle over 2m2f.  He is having his first run since November 2016.  He has won five times on all sorts of ground and Lorcan Williams rides claiming a handy seven pounds off our top weight.  On old form he should go close off his mark of 126.  Red Square Revival runs in the 5.20pm handicap chase over 2m5f.  He pulled up on his last run at Worcester but his form before that is good and on that he should run well with Tom Scu in the saddle.

All the horses ran well at Ffos Las last night.  Great Tempo ran a cracker to finish second and he was only beaten 3/4 length and he was trying to give the winner 10 pounds.  Dauphine Ereine was fourth beaten about 11 lengths and Iniciar was fifth only beaten just under 10 lengths.

The big meeting of the day is of course at Epsom and we have the Oaks.  The favourite Wild Illusion won a Group 1 in France on soft going but she has also won on good to firm.  I am always amazed they run such big races including the Derby and the Oaks on this track.  If you are ever in the Epsom aread you should really go along and you will be surprised as to what the track is actually like.  They will have armed police on patrol at the course to deter any trouble, what is the World coming to.

England take on Pakistan at Headingley today starting at 11am.  England were of course hammered last time yet they still have England at 4/6 to win this test and Pakistan are 100/30.  The draw at 4/1 will do for me and let's hope they get the rain we have had down here!

Is it the end of the Roman Empire?!  The Chelsea owner is not going to spend a billion pounds on revamping Stamford Bridge as he could not get a UK visa to invest.  I find that quite unbelievable as just think how many jobs and money he has put into this country.

All through school I tried to work out what made my teacher tick...turning out it was correct answers!
