No runners for the stable today and no jumps racing scheduled. The flat meetings are at Brighton, Chepstow and Windsor, while in Ireland, they race on the flat at Roscommon. What may seem a quiet day of racing there is still some exciting action packed in with a few nice horses taking part.
On Sunday, we made the journey to Worcester with three runners. Dindin got into a nice rhythm and travelled nicely throughout but the ground was riding fairly quick and may have been a little too quick for his liking, but he did run on all the way to the line. Groundbreaker was keen early on in the race and made a bit of a mistake down the back which wouldn't have helped him get back into a rhythm and looked to just get a little tired. Chemical Warfare was our last runner and he travelled and jumped well throughout just getting a little out paced, but he ran well and ran all the way to the line.
Great Britain are still performing brilliantly at the Paralympics in Paris and managed to achieve their most successful day at a games this century with winning 12 gold medals! The outstanding haul of 12 golds on day four took the team to 23 golds and 43 medals in total, currently in second place on the medal board. The action continues today for Day 5.
Yesterday in the Football action came from the English Premier League. Chelsea looked to be in control of the game throughout but Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace scored a superb equaliser in the 53rd minute resulting the game finishing as Chelsea 1-1 Crystal Palace. Newcastle maintained their unbeaten start to the season as they defeated Tottenham with the result ending Newcastle United 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool continued their flawless start under new manager Arne Slot and outclassed Man U with the game finishing as Man U 0-3 Liverpool.
