Friday Night Light (FR)
2013 Bay Gelding
By: Air Chief Marshal (IRE)
Out of: Peninsula (FR)
By: Dansili

I am delighted to offer a ½ share in exciting novices’ hurdle prospect Friday Night Light.  I bought him from the French sales in November as an entire and immediately had him gelded.  It took him a little while to get over this, hence he has not run since.  He is fine now though, has schooled well over timber at home and will be making his hurdling debut when the new season gets underway.

He had some good form on the flat in France, winning over 1m4½f at Compiegne in March while he was also placed at top tracks such as Maisons-Laffitte and Saint Cloud and he could mix hurdling with running on the level in this country where he would have an official mark in the high 80’s.

Shantou is a sire that I like very much and have done well with in the past (with the likes of Ballynagour, Our Father and Taj Badalandabad) and I have high hopes for this three year old.  He is a super looking fellow and has a lovely pedigree being a half-brother to useful point-to-point, hurdle and chase winner Court Red Handed and hurdle winner Clontarf.

He is still a big baby and has some more growing to do, but he looks like a super prospect for the future. 50% Share remaining.

Tobacco Road (IRE)
2010 Bay Gelding
By: Westerner
Out of: Virginia's Best
By: King's Best (USA)

We are pleased to offer seven year old gelding Tobacco Road to stay in the yard.  This son of Westerner has finished in the frame on his last three completed starts over hurdles and with a flat rating of 87, he has the option of returning to that sphere as well.  He is fit and ready to run and is entered up at present.  He has shown more than enough to suggest he should be winning very shortly and will give any prospective owner plenty of fun.  Furthermore, he represents excellent value at £6,000+ VAT.

Ennistown
2010 Bay Gelding
By: Authorized (IRE)
Out of: Saoirse Abu (USA)
By: Mr Greeley (USA)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to own a high class dual-purpose performer who will take any prospective owner to the big meetings be it on the flat or over hurdles, indeed he could well run on the flat at Royal Ascot in June.

Not only does Ennistown possess a beautiful pedigree by Derby winner Authorized out of a Group One winning mare, he is also a most attractive sort.  Successful five times on the level at up to 1m4f he is also the winner of two races over hurdles, while he was far from disgraced on his latest start when fourth in a Cheltenham Grade 2 contest behind a subsequent Cheltenham Festival winner.

Skinflint (IRE)
2012 Bay Gelding
By: Scorpion (IRE)
Out of: Gales Hill (IRE)
By: Beau Sher

Brand new to the stable, we are pleased to offer Skinflint, a well-made four year old gelding by Scorpion.  A promising runner-up on his only start in an Irish point-to-point in March, the form has been franked with a winner and two seconds already coming from that race.

He is a half-brother to Grade 2 Aintree bumper, hurdle and chase winner Ballybolley and Irish winning hurdler Meitheamh and while Skinflint will probably start in bumpers, he will make a lovely hurdler/chaser in time

Realistically priced at £30,000 he is sure to give his new owners plenty of enjoyment.
