Today there are just two meetings at Plumpton and Wolverhampton to look forward to.  In fairness the Plumpton card looks to be fairly competitive with the Sussex National their feature contest.  The 3m4f trip will take some getting on this very soft ground and the winner will certainly have earned the £12,500 first prize, having said that the prize money on offer through the entire card is very commendable.  The track has always been a great favourite with the Londoners who can all jump on the train (there is a station right outside the course).  I always used to enjoy stopping at the late Barry Cope's seafood stall for a good curry...happy days!  Mind you, then I think of the M25...not such happy days!

Can somebody please tell me why Roberto Mancini puts up with Mario Balotelli?  I wouldn't mind but Balotelli doesn't even look to be that great a footballer and certainly not worth the £22 million that City paid for him!  Can you imagine the other manager in Manchester putting up with his antics?  They also need to put up a big wall around the training ground so photographers cannot intrude and stir things up!

The third round match of the day is undoubtedly Swansea versus Arsenal.  The Gunners don't seem to play two games the same - they looked very poor against Southampton and I wouldn't be at all surprised if Swansea could get a result here.  There is also a great home tie for Mansfield Town as they take on Liverpool, although they are unlikely to spring a surprise it is certainly a great occasion for the home fans.

The Ladies World Darts Championship takes place at Lakeside and she goes for her an amazing tenth world title.  Why is it that I have never heard of her then?  Maybe she has been on her travels!  Boom boom!  Have a nice weekend.
