It looks like being an exciting day of action with four meetings taking place this afternoon at Exeter and Bangor over jumps while there are all-weather flat meetings at Lingfield and Kempton. The stable has runners at both National Hunt fixtures; Bladoun, Sir Frank and Waterunder at Exeter and Shotavodka at Bangor. The ground at Bangor is currently soft and Shotavodka has twice won on heavy going, so he won't mind a bit of cut underfoot, while he also gets maximum assistance from the saddle with a certain A P McCoy booked to ride. A P has won his only start aboard our gelding (above), so let's hope that he can maintain their 100% record this afternoon. Bangor have done a good job in securing the most prize money on offer today, even including the Irish meeting at Dundalk so very well done to them.
Broadway Buffalo was our only runner yesterday and he finished fourth at Huntingdon. I am not sure if he wants a shorter trip or further...he was beaten three out before staying on again in the closing stages - I will leave that puzzle to David!

I see there is a horse running today called Tee It Up Tommo - I wonder if Derek Thompson is doing the commentary on the race? I can just here him saying that 'Tee It Up Tommo has sliced his way through the field!'...you golfers will know what I am talking about!
Sue Smith is yet to decide if she is going to appeal over the decision to ban her horse Emral Silk for it's running at Southwell on Monday. She has to decide by the close of play today - I think I would be inclined to take this one on the chin. The last trainer to try to overturn the decision was Oliver Sherwood and he didn't get very far.
Don't forget, if you haven't already seen it, below is yet another opportunity to see our video interview with travelling head lad Craig Wylie...

It has just been revealed that heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson was high on cocaine during one of his major fights. That really must have put the bite into him...boom boom!

Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke has announced the England cricket team for the first Ashes Test...I really hope we stuff those cocky Aussies, don't you?!
