Two Sedgefield Runners

Today we have four meetings to look forward to with two jump meetings at Lingfield and Sedgefield as well as all-weather flat meetings at Southwell and Wolverhampton.  The stable has a couple of runners at Sedgefield, yes I did say Sedgefield!  I have only ever been to the track once but there were certainly no complaints about how they looked after me.  The box left in the early hours with our promising youngsters Heath Hunter and Ainsi Fideles - both look to have good chances this afternoon.  Conditional jockey Tom Bellamy comes in for a nice ride aboard Heath Hunter - the pair were successful in a Ffos Las bumper last season (pictured above), so let's hope they can maintain their 100% record.

I thought that Weather Babe ran a cracking race in the mares' Listed race at Kempton yesterday.  She had 20lbs and more to find with the front two in the market, yet managed to finish second, beaten one length.  Wayne and Sarah Clifford bred her and will be delighted to have some black type for this really likeable mare - the trouble is, I think the handicapper will take a dim view of it!

I see that 'The Special One' Jose Mourinho cut his own hair to save money!  He borrowed a set of clippers from Fernando Torres - it's hard to believe that the wages at Chelsea are so bad that the staff have to cut their own hair!  Maybe he is expecting the Premiership to be a close shave!

I just want to say that not all Essex lads are like Joey Essex who is currently featuring on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!  Even his father said 'My word jumbling son is lovely but bloody useless!'  I would also like to know why Rebecca Addlington is even in the jungle - the Olympic gold medalist swimmer has now backed out of three straight bushtucker trials on medical grounds!  What is the point of being on the show?  Finally, I would like to add that I do not watch the show at all...more shower with Amy please!
