Time to Celebrate!

We have just two jumps cards today at Carlisle and Ffos Las.  Quite a few of the Cheltenham jockey's are riding at these tracks today, it must be a bit like after the Lords Mades Show!  There is a race worth just £1500 and the jockeys would pick up less than £150 for riding the winner.  Just think, Davy Russell got nearly £32,000 for winning the Gold Cup on Friday.  Talking about the Gold Cup, I am not sure it was a strong a Gold Cup on form as you might think.  Only a couple of lengths separated the first four home.  At one point during the race, the commentator said "the only on out of it is Lord Windermere" who was detatched at one point.  I wonder what the commentator thought after the race - I bet he got some stick!  David does not have any runners today but we are all planning a little get together later on down the local pub to celebrate a great week at Cheltenham.  There could be a few sore heads tomorrow!

I am not the greatest Formula 1 fan.  Why don't they put all the drivers in the same type of car and then the best driver would win?!  To me it seems like it is the best or quickest car that wins.  I like lewis Hamilton, or is it the young lady he hangs about with?!  She looks a bit quick to me!  What about the days of Stirling Moss, he looked more like a bank clerk than a racing car driver!  When I played table tennis, I said I wanted to be a racing car driver.  I was taken to Brans Hatch and went around the circuit with Jack Bramham.  It frightened the life out of me!  I did not want to be a racing car driver after that!

I see that popstar Pixie Lott is a West Ham fan and loves her new West Ham shirt.  I will listen to her in a completely different mind from now on!  You can just imagine her in her Hammers shirt scoring!

What a game we have in the football today.  Man Utd v Liverpool at 1.30pm.  This game should tell us how much Man Utd have gone backwards and/or how much Liverpool have improved.  Have a nice day.
