Generous at Uttoxeter

     Too Generous (n/s) on the Gallops

David has just the one runner, Too Generous at Uttoxeter this evening.  She runs in the mares handicap hurdle at 7.45pm and Tom Scu rides.  She was fifth last time out on this track and the Post have her at 5/1.  There are eight runners in the race and I am thinking that if all eight horses stand their ground she looks and each way bet to nothing.  There are two jumps meetings today, Bangor and Uttoxeter and there are four on the flat at Newbury, Newmarket, Thirsk and Doncaster.

There is a good piece in the Racing Post this morning by Richard Birch.  He says if he won the £10 million Scoop 6 today that he would buy a low grade hurdler to be trained by David Pipe or Gary Moore.  With that sort of money he could by a Festival winner to be trained by David!  I wonder how many people today will be having a go?  Even my wife is trying to work it out!

In yesterday's racing action, G Force won with a bit in hand at York and landed quite a few good sized bets.  He ran off a mark of 87 and will now take a big hike in the ratings but could be one to follow again as he was very impressive.

It is the FA Cup final today and Arsenal play Hull at 5pm on ITV.  I used to like the old days when it was a 3pm kick off.  If you want to buy some drinking money you could back the Gunenrs at 1/2.

Man City were hit with a £50 million fine for breaking UEFA's financial rules.  If the owners want to spend their money I cannot see what is wrong?!  I wish we had a Sheikh at West Ham, all we have got is a few sheets!! 

I see in the celebrity world that Kerry Katona is going to lose a couple of stone (again!).  Will anyone notice or does anyone care?!  Have a good day and good luck in the Scoop 6!
