One at Each

    Intermath runs at Stratford

David has two runners today, Intermath in the 4.25pm juvenile hurdle at Stratford with Conor O'Farrell on board and Famousandfearless in the 3.10pm handicap hurdle at Southwell with Tom Scu in the saddle.  Intermath has just had just the one start over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month and he ran okay to finish third.  Hopefully is should run well again.  Famousandfearless also ran okay the last time finishing third at Uttoxeter.  This was his best run since joining Pond House so hopefully a repeat of that could see him go close this afternoon.  AP has five rides at Southwell and two of them are favourites.  He is still trying to get past MCP's total number of winners, he is edging closer, could today be the day?!  There are three race meetings today and all of them are over the sticks at Perth, Stratford and Southwell.  If you are a flat jockey bad luck or bad planning!

There was a big article yesterday about Matt Chapman.  I know I give him a lot of stick but he deserves it!  He says he is a terrible punter and I agree with him.  He says Cyfor Malta was his all time favourite and he had some lovely touches on him, so at least he did back a winner once!  He also took MCP, Carol, Jane and myself out for a meal one day but he had no money on him.  He used his girlfriend's credit card!  He now spends all his money on tanning equipment, Matt is alright and I think does a good job for racing.

The World Cup is on tonight at 8pm on both ITV and BBC1.  Germany take on Argentina.  If Germany show the same form as against Brazil they should win.  Mind you, I think the Argy's will get stuck in a bit more and there will be some tackling flying about!
