Today we have five meetings at Salisbury, Newmarket, Beverley, Chepstow and a jumps card at Fontwell.  David has two runners at Fontwell and Northern Bay runs in the first race on the card with Conor O'Farrell on board.  This is his first run in this country since being bought at the French summer sale.  He has only had two runs over hurdles in France and did finish second on his jumping debut.  It will be intertesting to see how he gets on on his British debut.  Barton Stacey is David's other runner at the track, and although he was little disappointing last time out he is a winner earlier this summer and AP takes over on board.  All three of his career wins have come on good ground and we will just have to see if AP can work his magic!

Intermath was disappointing yesterday at Newton Abbot finishing eighth.  On previous form he should have been just behind Vosne Romanee who was second.  Bathwick Man ran a cracker and was only beaten a head by Dazinski and they were 14 lengths clear of the third.  Let's just hope the handicapper does not over react as poor Bathwick Man has not won for over two years already!  It was a great come back ride for Kieron Edgar on his first ride since breaking his leg so fingers crossed he stays injury free and can look forward to a great season.

I see Luke Harvey has a horse in training - Bright Society.  How can he ever win a race when his owner has been schooling him.  He must be the unluckiest horse in the World!  Only joking!

The Jim Old Charity golf day which took place on Monday and David played in was won by a team scoring 88 points.  It looks like a team Sir Mark Prescott has got handicapped to me!  For you non golfers its like the winner of the derby running in a handicap the following week off a mark of 70!  I see in the proper golf it is bad news for our Ryder Cup team.  Tiger Woods has ruled himself out of the American team.  He is out of form and has a bad back - we wanted him to play!

Anthony Fowler won a gold medal in the boxing at the Commonwealth games.  He is our former owner and footballer Robbie Fowler's cousin.  We sent Anthony a Congraulations from David and Martin and it was nice to see he tweeted a thank you and a photo of what we sent him on Twitter yesteday.  Could he be a future owner?!  He is a brilliant boxer and definintely not one to upset! Have a nice day.
