This afternoon there are four meetings taking place with three of them on the flat at Wolverhampton, Lingfield and Kempton as well as a National Hunt fixture from our local track at Exeter. The stable has three runners at the track today; Moncarno, Houston Dynimo and Kalifourchon and first of all I should congratulate Exeter on having the most prize money on offer at any of the fixtures this afternoon. Houston Dynimo (pictured above) carries top weight of 11-12 in the handicap chase and the nine year old has been a revelation since joining the yard, winning over hurdles and finishing placed in two Listed chases. Conditional jockey Kieron Edgar claims a handy 5lbs off his back today and it will be interesting to see how he handles this softer ground. Whatever happens, he owes us nothing as he has already proven to be an inspired claim by David.
If you are thinking of going to Exeter this afternoon, make sure you wrap up warmly as it is bound to be windy on top of Haldon Hill. We have had gale force winds all night in the Torbay area and we are just down the road from the track.
Our only runner yesterday, Virtuel d'Oudon finished fourth in the 3m1 1/2f Plumpton handicap hurdle. I don't think the steadily run race would have suited him and I am certain that he is better than he was able to show yesterday.
I see three of the British based jockeys won in Canada on Sunday. Ryan Moore, Andrew Mullen and Jamie Spencer all found the winners' enclosure although unfortunately it wasn't such a productive trip for Tom Dascombe's team as Brown Panther managed to get loose before the start and was withdrawn.
There was due to be a schooling raceday at Bangor this afternoon but unfortunately owing to the adverse weather conditions it has been abandoned with Friday as a possible alternative date. The event had been well supported with 67 horses entered up and it certainly would have made for interesting viewing - let's hope the rescheduled day is a big success.

Manchester United only managed to get a draw against West Brom last nigh. I reckon I could sort United out - they need a top class centre half, a left half, right half and two new full backs! They need to sell a few of their forwards to fund buying in January. It's easy...I'm waiting on your call United!
CSKA play Manchester City at 5pm tonight on Sky, while Chelsea take on Maribog at 7.45pm on ITV. City are a backable 4/6 while Chelsea are plenty short enough at 1/6.
