Today we have just two meetings, jumping at Musselburgh and a flat card at Chelmsford.  Jockey Conor O'Farrell has gone all the way to Musselburgh to ride Streets of New York for trainer Brian Ellison.  Conor did ride this one to finish a close second last time out but it is his only ride on the card and it is a long way to go so hopefully it will run well.  There looks to be good prize money at both meetings.  Brough Scott visited Pond House for the first time in 25 years during the week and there is a good article in today's Racing Post so make sure you guy and buy it!  It is worth paying the £2.40 for this article alone!  Why is the Racing Post more expensive on a Sunday?  It is normally the least number of pages, maybe they are printing on double time?!

 Tiger Woods had the worst golfing round of his career, shooting an 82 and missing the cut.  It is not quite as easy as Tiger thinks to come back to big time golf.  I think the rest of the golfing world has caught up and are all match tight and he will struggle to get back amongst them.

Today is the final of the Australian men's tennis final, Murray versus Djokovic.  It's going to be a base line battle.  They do seem to hit the ball a lot harder than they did years ago and Murray will have to be at the top of his game to win.  He does seem in good form and confident which is half the battle when it comes to winning.

Can you believe Roy Keane is being investigated for road rage with a taxi driver.  It happened in Altrincham in Cheshire at traffic lights.  You must be mad to argue with Keane as I would not think he would take many prisoners.
