The stable enjoyed another nice winner yesterday afternoon as Fingertips (pictured above) made all the running to land the juvenile hurdle at Sandown under Daryl Jacob. He won with a bit in hand and recorded a useful performance in the process conceding 10lbs to odds-on favourite Polarisation who was rated 100 on the level. Granted our fellow jumped much better than the vanquished jolly but this was much more like the form he had shown in France and he looks like a useful prospect for his owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede.
There is a busy day of racing ahead with jumps cards from Aintree, Chepstow, Sandown and Wetherby as well as an all-weather flat card from Wolverhampton. The stable has plenty of runners today with representatives at Aintree, Chepstow and Sandown. Soll and Poole Master compete over the National fences at Aintree and the latter is defending last season's success in the Grand Sefton Chase. Soll meanwhile goes in the Becher Chase and his recent run at Cheltenham should have blown the cobwebs away and a big run is expected. Tom Scudamore rides both of our runners at Liverpool.
Over at Chepstow David runs Ballywilliam in the 12.20pm race and Kieron Edgar is on board our five year old who finished an encouraging third in a decent looking contest at the track last time. Kieron has also come in for the mount on our other runners at the Welsh track; Epic Warrior and Top Wood. At Sandown What A Moment makes his hurdling debut and he looked like a useful recruit when winning a bumper at Towcester last season - he is the mount of Conor O'Farrell. Lady Of Longstone bids to continue her remarkable progress in the 2m4f handicap hurdle under newly turned conditional jockey David Noonan, who was aboard when winning at Kempton last time. David also partners Aintree winner Doctor Harper who is returning from 18 months off in the Pertemps handicap hurdle qualifier and it is great to see him back on the track. Conor O'Farrell is aboard Taj Badalandabad in the same race. As you would expect for a Saturday there is some extremely competitive action but it is good to see the stable in with some live chances.

Even with all of their injuries Arsenal should still be too strong for Sunderland this afternoon, mind you they are 2/7 chances. Chelsea take on Bournemouth and while the seasiders will score goals, the question is will they score enough to prevent Chelsea from winning? I will stick with Chelsea at 4/11 and Southampton at 1/2 to beat a very poor Aston Villa side, they will make up my little weekend treble. I won't mention my beloved West Ham who have to play Manchester United and I will certainly be turning my phone off if we lose! One thing is for certain, I will end up with loads of texts as the United supporters crawl out of the woodworK!
