It's a bit like after the Lords Mayor Show, we have just two jumps cards at Ffos Las and Market Rasen. David Noonan rides at Ffos Las and Conor O'Farrell goes to Market Rasen. I thought David could ride a winner for Anthony Honeyball's, As De Fer. There is great prize money on offer at Leopardstown on the flat today. I see the crowds were up for all three days at Liverpool. It just shows you what a sporting event it is. I still think the National should be earlier in the afternoon, there would be less drunks about! I sound like a grumpy old man, no comments!
What a Sunday if you are a football fan or not! We have Liverpool versus Stoke, Sunderland versus Leicester, Tottenham versus Man United. It is such an important day for both Sunderland and Leicester at different ends of the table!. I will have my usual interest on Liverpool 4/6, Leicester 5/4 and Spurs at 20/21. A treble and three cross doubles. It is also the end of the Masters golf at Augusta. One of my friends, Herman Bond who owns St Mellion golf course. It was first Niclaus golf course in this country and he was invited by Jack to play on the Augusta course straight after the Masters. He told me it was like putting on lino on a slope! It was the hardest and quickest greens he had ever played on and you could easily putt the ball off the green! So it looks like another day in front of the TV for me, I am just lucky my son Lester is a sport nut to!
