Today we have five meetings, flat cards at York, Salisbury and Newmarket plus jumps cards at Perth and Fontwell.  Tom Scu is going up to Perth for four rides and the shortest priced of his rides is in the bumper.  The horse is called Tessie B for Irish trainer Gavin Cromwell.  Keep and eye on the betting market.  Both Tom Scu and David Noonan rode winners yesterday at Worcester.  I thought we saw a superstar yesterday at York, So Mi Dar bolted up in the Group 3 fillies race looks a big danger to Minding.  She will improve again for the experience.  Frankie had a great day at York, also winning on Magical Memory and Castle Harbour.  Today at York it is the Dante stakes a Group 2 and it could go to the Sir Michael Stoute trained Midterm who is unbeaten after two starts.  Mind you, this looks like a lot harder race.  Dettori rides Wings of Desire for John Gosden and might beat the favourite.

I have been looking at the Championships.  A P O'Brien leads with four winners, yet Richard Fahey has had 46, yes it is done on prize money!  It is a joke it should be on winners, give Fahey, O'Brien's horses and he would be clear!  Richard Johnson leads the jockey's table with 10 winners, it is a bit like what AP used to and he will pull further ahead as the months go on.  I do not think we will ever see a close finish in the jockey's title race.

Big Sam does it again!  Sunderland beat Everton 3-0 last night which meant Newcastle and Norwich are relegated from the Premiership and Sunderland stay up.  I would like to think this result for Everton means that manager Roberto Martinez days are numbered.  It looks like he has lost the dressing room and that is normally the end for the manager.

One of my favourite ever cricket reporters, Tony Cozier has died in Barbados at the age of 75.  He was a great reporter.  Someone said to me, why is your brother so small?  I said he is only my half brother!  Have a nice day.
