It is great news that as from today David as a new yard sponsor in W & S Recycling.  They take over from Bathwick Tyres who have been fantastic over the past nine years and so we would like to thank them very much.  Our horses, jockey's and staff will now be carrying the logo pictured above and we very much look forward to seeing it in the winners enclosure throughout the coming season.  A big thank you to W & S Recycling for the new association which we hope will be a long and successful partnership.

There are five meetings today, flat cards at Ascot, Newmarket, Redcar and Wolverhampton plus a jumps card at Fontwell.  David does not have any runners but looking at the Fontwell card David Noonan has two rides for Anthony Honeyball.  He rides Fountains Cider in the 1.50pm and Mistress Massini in the 5.15pm so in between races he will be able to watch the golf!  Purple N Gold ran a cracker at Fontwell yesterday to finish second.  I thought he was going to win jumping the last but he just got run out of it by the 7/4 favourite Workbench.  The pair were 15 lengths clear of the third and on this run he should hopefully get his head in front again soon as he totally deserve to.

Ascot had 50 children from Kings House school in Richmond visiting the course yesterday.  They had a good look round and had a chat and got autographs from Ryan Moore in the weighing room.  It can only be good for racing.  We had about 30 youngsters from the Pony Racing circuit at Pond House yesterday.  The more youngsters that can get involved the better for the future.

Europe lost the first session in the Ryder Cup 4-0.  Lee Westwood looked completely out of touch.  Luckily for him he is a mate of the captain Darren Clarke!  Europe did fight back in the afternoon and won that session 3-1 so at the moment they are only 5-3 down and the score looks a lot better.  Danny Willett took some stick from the American crowd due to the reaction from what his stupid brother had said in the press.

I don't care what anyone says buut I am going to back West Ham at 13/10!  Surely they will beat Middlesborough?!  The big match of the weekend looks to be tomorrow, Spurs versus Man City at 2.15pm.  Any manager involved in bunging should be banned for life and I think the FA should ban Sam Allardyce.  You don't want people like that involved with football.  Have a nice day.
