Trio of Runners

            Dynaste runs at Kelso

There are two jumps cards today at Huntingdon and Kelso.  David has three runners, two at Huntingdon, Sweettoothtommmy and The Two Amigos and Dynaste runs at Kelso.  Sweettoothtommy runs in the 12.30pm, a 2m4f handicap hurdle.  He was third in a novice hurdle at Chepstow last time out, 18 days ago which was a nice run but he will probably have to improve again to win this race.  David Noonan rides and takes three pounds off.  The Two Amigos runs in the 2.30pm 2 mile novice hurdle.  He is an Irish point to point winner who ran a nice sort of race on his hurdling debut last time at Chepstow so hopefully he can build on this. Tom Scu goes to Kelso to ride Dynaste in the veterans chase at 2.50pm.  There is good prize money of £30,000 on offer and this is a little easier than some of his more recent races but he still has to carry top weight and give weight to some good horses.

There is a good card at Fairyhouse today.  Just have a look and see what Gordon Elliott runs.  He is in such good form and has runners in all seven races.  The big race is the Hatton Grace hurdle at 1.40pm with £100,000 in prize money in offer.  Willie Mullins runs Vroum Vroum Mag and Gordon Elliott runs Apples Jade who would have a fitness advantage having already ran twice this season.  I see Gordon is already on 117 winners for the season, that is 37 in front of Willie.  As you know I think trainers championships should be decided on the number of winners not prize money but I won't start on about that for now!  Can anyone name the horse Gordon won on at Cheltenham when riding for MCP?

The big football game today is Everton versus Man United at 4pm.  I am still not convinced about United so Everton can be backed at 11/4, mind you Everton don't look that good a bet but they are at home.  Bournemouth are at home to Liverpool at 1.30pm  3/4 is the best price about Liverpool.

It looks like Anthony Joshua will fight Wladimar Klitschko at Wembley on 29th April next year.  My money is already on Joshua.
