The stable enjoyed another winner last night at Towcester when Businessmoney Judi obliged in the mare's novices' hurdle under A P McCoy. The champ had to sit tight at the third hurdle as Saras Smile swerved violently left and deposited Grand National winning jockey Jason Maguire, nearly taking us out in the process. A P did well to keep the partnership intact, nevermind drive her out for a 3/4 length victory over previous winner The Strawberry One...I guess that is why he is the champ, he manages to win races that no other jockey would be able to. It was an excellent training performance from David to produce Businessmoney Judi to win on her first start for the yard, and I am sure that the owners were delighted - I understand that it is their first winner for around five years, so very well done to them!

It seems to me that all good Irishmen were born on 13th April - today marks the birthdays of Jonjo O'Neill, Paddy Brennan and Jason Maguire! I bet that Jason had some party after he won the Grand National aboard Ballabriggs. I mustn't forget my old mate from Newmarket Frank Conlon - he was head lad to Henry Cecil and Sir Michael Stoute for years - many happy returns Frank!

I can't believe that bookmakers are reporting support for Spurs to turn around the 4-0 defecit they have against Real Madrid. They were 80/1 to win and are now 50/1 - the only thing I can imagine is that some punters have been sucked in by the fancy prices on offer. The 9/5 about Spurs just to win their home leg looks more tempting to me.

Poor old Luke Harvey had a £10,000 camera stolen from his car while he was in Liverpool in the early hours of Saturday morning. It is true that the Attheraces presenter should have been more careful with such a valuable piece of kit, but he is offering a reward for information that leads to it's safe return. If you do know anything about it, give Luke a call on 01367 821102 - just make sure that you negotiate the reward first as Luke will probably try to give you some tips (and he couldn't tip his hat!).
