As I mentioned yesterday it is fantastic that David has booked former Champion jockey Ryan Moore to partner Junior in the Ascot Stakes on Tuesday. What a buy Junior has turned out to be. He is amazingly versatile with of course his last win being in the Kim Muir over fences at the Cheltenham Festival. How many horses would be able to win at the Festival and Royal Ascot?! Well of course Junior has already managed this feat and I am sure he will put up another bold show when defending his crown in the Ascot Stakes next week. We certainly would love to have a few more horses like him!

I would just like to warn everyone, please be careful if you are driving through France this week. One of our owners, Gino, the Italian Stallion has taken up cycling and he is cycling from London to Paris this weekend for charity. He has bought a top of the range bike and a lovely lycra outfit so I will try and snap a photo of him! Good luck to all of the guys that are taking part as it is a great cause and a very long way to go!
I see they are going to auction off the shoe that came off Carlton House. I think it is a great idea as it should make a few quid, especially if they can get the owner to sign it! I remember when Baron Blakeney won the Triumph hurdle I think we must have given away about 15 of winning shoes. I always wondered how many legs he had!
I see trainer Andy Haynes is calling himself the new Sir Mark prescott after his horse,Collect Art has won two days in a row. He is due to run at Doncaster on Sunday where a seven pound claiming jockey will take off most of his penalty. There is however only one Sir Mark Prescott however who I'm sure would have his next three races mapped out as well, he is a very good trainer and one I love to follow.
