With Royal Ascot only two more sleeps away I see the final day of Royal Ascot is now sold out. It is the most popular day of the Royal Meeting and last year it attracted 76,554 people. You would not think there are that many top hats in the country! If you don't read the Racing Post I will pass on a little tip that jockey Richard Hughes gave everyone in the paper yesterday. he thinks Census is a good each way bet in the King George V Stakes. He says he thinks his horse is well handicapped and you have heard this straight from the horses mouth, or is it straight from the Hughsies mouth?!
Junior was put through his paces yesterday and looked in fine form on the gallops ahead of his run at Royal Ascot on Tuesday and is pictured below. Hunterview was also captured with Gerry Supple in the saddle.

I also see in yesterdays paper they are looking for an experienced handicapper for racing in Korea. It does not say whether you need to speak fluent Korean or not! It does look quite a hard language to learn and I am only just getting the hang of English, just ask everyone in the office!
What about Paolo Di Canio as manager of Swindon Town FC. He was a great player for my team the hammers a few years ago, if a little temperamental! I bet he will throw his toys out of the pram a few times while manager and I would love to be in the dressing room at half time if things were not going to well in a game!
