      Siruh Du Lac's View of the Gallops

Yesterday was the first official day of autumn, know as the Autumn Equinox and what a lovely day it was here at Pond House.  Pictured above is the view of one of our barn leaders, Ali Gallier-Pratt aboard Siruh Du Lac first lot yesterday - what a view!  It is also fantastic to have Siruh Du Lac back in training and we can't wait to get him back on the track.  He had one start for us last November when he and Tom Scu unfortunately parted company at the first fence at Cheltenham after which he sustained an injury at home and was not able to run again.  He has recovered well and is a very exciting prospect for the season ahead, already a Cheltenham Festival winner he has huge talent and is likely to be running in a lot of top handicap chases while there could be more to come when he steps up in trip to three miles.

Today there are no runners from the yard but we do have two tomorrow at Worcester - Iron Heart and Oneonechop so check back here for more news of their chances.  There is jumps racing up at Perth again today while there is action on the flat at Newmarket, Pontefract and Wolverhampton this evening.  The Listowel Festival continues today with action on the flat and if anyone has seen Gerry Supple please get in touch - last seen with a Guinness in Listowel yesterday!  Don't worry we have not really lost Gerry, he has gone home to visit his mum for a few days, the first time he has seen her in over two years and we look forward to having him back to work next week!

 Tom Scu is once again in action up at Perth and has a busy day with four rides.  He is due to ride Roi De Dubai again for Irish trainer John McConnell.  He finished a gallant second aboard this one yesterday so it will be interesting to see if he runs again and how he gets on, he looks to have a good chance again providing yesterdays exertions have not taken too much out of him.  His other rides are fairly big prices but you have to be in it to win it so they say!
