The stable was amongst the winners again yesterday as our only runner, Mr Tambourine Man (pictured above), ran out a convincing winner of the 2m4f handicap hurdle. It absolutely tipped it down before racing and it altered the watered ground to good/soft and that probably helped our son of Galileo, who defied an 8lbs rise for his latest success at Exeter. Although the favourite disappointed, it was a decent little contest with three last time out winners in the field and he is sure to take another hike in the weights for this, but he is clearly in good heart at present and improving at a rate of knots.
There are five meetings taking place this afternoon with jumps cards from Huntingdon and Hexham, flat fixtures from Brighton and Nottingham and all-weather action from Wolverhampton. David has three runners today as Awesomedude, Lady Reset and Morgenstern contest the first three races at Huntingdon.
Awesomedude runs in the 2m maiden hurdle at 5.17pm. A multiple winner on the flat, he showed plenty of ability in two starts over hurdles last season. He will like the decent ground and looks to have a good chance under Tom Scudamore.
Lady Reset runs in the 2m mares' handicap hurdle at 5.47pm. She is as game and versatile as they come and you can set your watch by her. Flat or hurdles, it all comes the same to her and she ran another good race on the flat on Saturday at Doncaster. She is on the same mark as when runner-up on her last couple of starts over hurdles and she be right there again under Tom Scudamore.
Morgenstern runs in the 2m½f novices' handicap chase at 6.17pm. He is 4lbs higher than when winning on his penultimate start at Stratford and would have a chance on that basis, although he was brought down last time out at Southwell when struggling. Philip Armson is in the saddle.

Newcastle produced a good performance to beat Arsenal 2-0 last night and put a big dent in the hopes of the Gunners finishing in the top four for an all-important European spot.
Liverpool are in action tonight as they visit Southampton to keep their hopes of a Premiership title alive. Despite a couple of key absentees, including Mo Salah, Liverpool should still be far too good for the Saints.
