There are no runners today for the stable but there is jumping action at Huntingdon and Kelso.  At Huntingdon they have the feature race, the Peterborough Chase at 2.55pm over 2m4f.  The Kim Bailey trained First Flow heads the market alongside the Paul Nicholls trained Pic D'Orhy and they are both 11/4.  There are just seven runners contesting the £75,000 added prize money race but it is a good quality field with all of the horses being rated 143 and over.  Tom Scu is our only jockey in action today and he heads to Huntingdon for one ride, Art of Illusion the 1.45pm race.

Up at Kelso, they have the Borders National off at 1.05pm.  They have 13 runners in this race and the favourite is All About Joe who was a winner at Sedgefield last time out.  With the Northern meetings I always keep an eye out for whatever Conor O'Farrell is riding.  He was based with us for several seasons and I bought his house off him in Wellington!  He is having a great season which is brilliant for him and he has ridden 21 winners so far.  He has four rides at Kelso this afternoon and rides Niceandeasy in the Borders National.  He is best priced 15/2 and looks to have a good each way chance so I shall be cheering him on!

In Ireland they have a cracking card at Fairyhouse with three Grade 1 races.  There looks some highly promising types in the Grade 1 novices hurdle at 1.25pm, likewise in the 1.55pm Grade 1 Novices chase where Banbridge for the Joseph O'Brien teams heads the betting.  I am very much looking forward to seeing the return of Honeysuckle in the Grade 1 Hattons Grace hurdle at 2.30pm.  All the talk of late as been about Constitution Hill but Honeysuckle wears the crown and is one of the best horses I have ever seen.  While I can't wait for the match between the two I will enjoy watching this superstar mare this afternoon and appreciate how good she is.  She is 2/5 favourite with Rachel Blackmore on board and hopefully she can make a winning seasonal comeback in the colours of Kenny Alexander who has horses in training with us.

After my little trip to London I have enjoyed catching up with all the World Cup football drama.  Since last writing about the football the other day Germany and Belgium have gone home along with Denmark and Uruguay to name just a few and we are now onto the round of last 16.  Today we have France versus Poland at 3pm and then the big match of the day at 7pm is of course England against Senegal.  The African champions will not be easy opponents but fingers crossed England can win and progress to the quarter finals.  After a busy week I am looking forward to a restful Sunday which hopefully involves a golf competition first thing, a nice Sunday lunch and an afternoon on the sofa watching the high class action!  I hope you all have an enjoyable Sunday, whatever you may be up to!

Two robbers were robbing a liquor store when one robber grabs a bottle and asks the other robber "is this whiskey?"  The other says "yeah but not as whiskey as wobbing a bank"!
