Today we have two runners at Worcester this evening, D’jango and Free Chakarte. D’Jango makes his debut in the racing club colours in the 7.50pm handicap hurdle race over three miles with Philip Armson on board. He won a chase and a hurdle race over course and distance last summer and will enjoy the ground and drop in class for this race. He is about 13/2 third best in the betting and fingers crossed he can run well.

Free Chakarte runs in the concluding two mile hurdle at the end of the card. She is on somewhat of a revival mission having failed to complete in her last three starts. She will enjoy the quicker ground this evening and she wears first time blinkers but they need to bring about a big improvement. Our filly is not without an ability but has lost her way a little and so it would be nice to see her take a step back in the right direction tonight with Philip Armson riding.

Lady Reset ran another fine race on her seasonal reappearance at Sandown last night. She finished fourth under Hollie Doyle and was only beaten two lengths. She was a fraction slowly away from a wide draw so was always a little further back in the race than ideal but she stayed on well up the hill but could just never quite get there. It was a good run off top weight and she is a cracking little mare who should have a good summer both on the flat and over hurdles this summer.

Worcester is the only jumps meeting today but there is plenty of action on the flat. They race at Bath, Haydock, Goodwood and Pontefract. In Ireland they have a flat meeting at the Curragh and a jumps fixture at at Limerick.

Last night in the football Manchester United beat Chelsea 4-1 and have secured their spot in next season's Champions League so I am very happy!! There is no premier league action tonight but we can look forward to the final matches of the league season over the weekend.

I heard there is a place in France where people always wear clothing a size bigger than they need…some say it’s Toulouse. Happy Friday!
