A quiet day for the stable yesterday with no runners, but today we are back in action at Uttoxeter tonight with 2 runners Fighter Allen and Kauto Kawai. Fighter Allen runs in the 6:30pm Handicap Chase over 3miles with Jack Tudor riding. He has just had two starts for the yard and once highly tried at Cheltenham, but he maybe didn't enjoy the drop back to 2 miles last time. This is a competitive race and he's the outsider of the field but the track and ground will be ok, hopefully a big run at an E/W price.

Kauto Kawai runs in the 8:03pm Novices’ Handicap Hurdle over 2miles with Jack Tudor riding again. He will appreciate the better ground and hopefully he can show on the course what he shows us at home.

There is also jumps evening action to watch at Bangor-On-Dee. On the flat there is racing at Newbury, Newmarket, Thirsk and Doncaster. In Ireland, they race on the flat at Navan and over jumps in Wexford.

Newbury continue their 2 day meeting with the big race today being the Lockinge set to take place at 3:35pm, Inspiral is one of the names to have stood out to be in contention and last year’s Breeders’ Cup winner will be making her first start of the season and there are 11 runners in total to take part.

Last night in the football Southampton 3-1 West Bromwich. Southampton will now face Leeds United in the Championship play-off final. Today in the football, the English Women’s Super League kicks off at 3pm with plenty of matches scheduled. Arsenal vs. Brighton, Aston Villa vs. Man City, Bristol City vs. Everton, Leicester vs. Liverpool, Man U vs. Chelsea and Spurs vs. West Ham.

In the boxing it's the Fury and Usyk fight tonight and last night in the weigh in Tyson Fury was over 30lb heavier than Oleksandr Usyk. It is the first time undisputed heavyweight title fight since 1999 and the first time all four major world titles have been on the line in the four-belt era.

I took the shell off my racing snail, thinking it would make him faster…

However, if anything, it just made him more sluggish.

Have a great Saturday!
