Trio at Hereford!

    Only Fools runs for the racing club today!
We are back racing with three runners at Hereford for their evening meeting. Kintaro is our first runner of the evening and runs in the 5:20pm Maiden Hurdle over 2miles with Jack Tudor on board, he makes his hurdling debut for the yard today after having a few runs on the flat. He's been a little disappointing on the flat, but he schools well at home so hopefully he can run well!  

The David Pipe Racing Club have got a busy evening with two runners tonight, Behind The Curtain runs in the 5:55pm Handicap Hurdle over 3miles 1f with Jack Tudor riding and he got very unlucky last time out to have just got beaten by a length, so hopefully he can go one better again this time out! Our last runner is in the 7:00pm where we have Only Fools in the Mares’ Handicap Hurdle again with Jack Tudor riding, she has always been a fairly consistent mare and hopefully she can run well again here today and maybe even give the racing club a double! 

Other than racing at Hereford, there is flat action at Goodwood, Haydock, Bath and Pontefract. In Ireland, they race over jumps at Downpatrick and on the flat at Curragh.

Haydock thought that their meeting was in jeopardy due to the weather warning issued, but they had seen light at the end of the tunnel, as there was no further threat in the weather. They were hit with 46mm of rain altogether, with patchy rain continued this morning, but soon to be finished this afternoon hopefully. Chester have their race meeting scheduled for Saturday and they are subject to a 2pm inspection today with standing water still on the track.
