            Heure De Gloire runs today!
Yesterday was a quiet day in the yard with no runners and today we are back racing with two runners at Newton Abbot. Behind The Curtain runs in the 2:10pm Handicap Chase with Jack Tudor on board, he won over hurdles at Hereford last time out and he is back over the bigger obstacles today, but he has been in great form recently for the racing club so hopefully, he can run another solid race.

Heure De Gloire is our other runner of the day and she runs in the 3:10pm Mares’ Handicap Hurdle over 3miles 2½f with Jack Tudor on board she’s taking on a new trip today and she is a bit of a character and would prefer softer ground, but I think with the extra trip round this course it should help her out a little bit as she seems to run on at the end of her races.

Newton Abbot is the sole jumps fixture of the day with plenty of runners on the card and there are three flat meetings in Britain with action at Ripon, Nottingham and Kempton. In Ireland, they have a flat card at the Curragh.

Yesterday in the cricket, England were scheduled to play Scotland but unfortunately due to the weather the match was abandoned. England probably would've had things in their favour had the weather not played it's part. I think the nerves played a little for England as as prior to the rain break which came when Scotland were 51-0 over 6.2 overs. England's next match is against Australia on Saturday at 6pm, while Scotland play Namibia on Thursday at 8pm.

As a scarecrow, people say I'm outstanding in my field.

But hay, it's in my jeans!

Have a great Wednesday!
