On Saturday we had two runners at Bangor-On-Dee, Pub Crawl and Kintaro both run in the first race on the card. Pub Crawl had a small step in the right direction, but ultimately it was still below the level of form he shows at home, there is ability there we just need to work out how to unlock it onto the track.

Kintaro ran well on his second attempt over obstacles finishing 3rd, improving further from his last run, jumping well and I'm sure he will improve again on from that run for the future with it only being his second start over jumps.

Today the stable has one runner on the flat at Windsor, Rebel Angel runs in the 8:40pm Handicap over 1mile 3f with Ethan Jones riding. She ran well last time out at Chepstow, after a bit of a break and hopefully she can build on that run and improve again today.

There is no jumps fixture scheduled today but there is flat racing at Carlisle, Lingfield and of course Windsor. In Ireland, they have jumps action at Roscommon. Jumps trainer Warren Greatrex is due to have 2 runners at Windsor this evening and he's mentioned it could be the start of a new venture. He seems to be joining the likes of Alan King in having a few flat horses in as well as the jumpers.

Yesterday in Perth, Trainers Peter & Michael Bowen landed the prestigious bet365 Gold Cup with Statuario, who just denied the Emma Lavelle trained Hang In There. The plan for the winner is to hopefully line up for the Summer Plate at Market Rasen next month. The yard had unfortunately lost one of their long standing owners on Sunday, so it was certainly a winner to remember for the family.

Last night Soccer Aid was on and England ended the World's five year winning streak with a well deserved win at Stamford Bridge. It's always good fun to watch and it's for a great cause in Unicef. It was full of plenty of action as former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer put in a heavy challenge on Usain Bolt who later had to be stretchered off the pitch!

Why don't skeletons skydive?

They don't have the guts do it!

Happy Monday!
