Salisbury Sunday!

Today we head to Salisbury for Rebel Angel who runs in the 5:30pm Handicap over 1mile 4f with Saffie Osborne on board. She ran well at Chepstow a couple of starts ago and got a little unlucky at Windsor last time out, she actually ran better than her finishing position suggests and she galloped all the way to the line, so hopefully she can build on that run and go well.

Today there is flat racing in Britain, which is being held at Doncaster, Salisbury and Thirsk. In Ireland, they race over jumps on Downpatrick and on the flat at Gowran Park. The biggest meeting is in France at Chantilly, which hosts the Prix de Diana.

The declarations for the first day of Royal Ascot will be made today. Oisin Murphy has mentioned he knew of Frankie Dettori's plan to not return to Royal Ascot to ride this year when he spoke to him about it earlier on in the year. He said he was glad that Frankie has kept to his word and says it gives the other jockeys a bit more of an opportunity. 

In the Football, the Euro’s hold two matches from Group C. Slovenia vs. Denmark who kicks off at 5pm. England have their first match and are up against Serbia who kicks off at 8pm. Poland and Netherlands who are in Group D which kicks off at 2pm.
