Bangor Friday!

            Steppenwolf runs today!
It was a quiet day with no runners yesterday, but we are back today and make the trip to Bangor-On-Dee tonight with two runners. Steppenwolf runs in the 6:13pm Handicap Chase over 2miles 4½f with Jack Tudor riding.

He was an impressive winner last time out at Ffos Las on stable debut and this is a bit of a better race than last time but with saying that, he is in good form at home so hopefully, he will not be too far away and back up on his recent success.

Walk Of The Roses is our second runner and she runs in the 7:58pm Mares’ Maiden Hurdle over 2miles 3½f again with Jack Tudor on board.  She finished second on her recent start back from a break at Newton Abbot and although not jumping the last all that fluently, she ran on well to the line and didn't get beaten that far so off the back of that run, that should have sharpened her up a little bit and she's been a very consistent mare so far in all three of her starts. 

As well as racing at Bangor-On-Dee, there is a jumps fixture at Cartmel to look forward to. There is flat racing at Doncaster, Yarmouth, Newmarket and Newcastle. In Ireland, they race over the flat at the Curragh.

The confirmed runners and riders for the Northumberland Plate and Pretty Polly Stakes on Saturday. 20 in total make it for the Northumberland plate and just 8 take on the Pretty Polly Stakes.
