Last night we headed to Stratford for their evening meeting with just the one runner. Nibras Gold ran well again on his second start over fences adding another second to his name. He didn't jump the last all that fluently when coming to challenge and it got a little tight for room at times, but hopefully it won't be too much longer before he can get his head in front!

Today the stable have no runners and there is only flat action to watch which is all across the country at Thirsk, Musselburgh, Bath and Epsom. In Ireland, this evening they race over the flat in Tipperary.

The second day of Tipperary’s three-day meeting heads the action with the Listed Tipperary Stakes included at 5:40pm. Aidan O’Brien last took the race in 2018 and he has two representatives, which are Celtic Chieftain, and Treasure Isle, who will need to put their disappointing runs last time out behind them to be competitive in the 11-runner field.

In the Euro’s Romania 0-3 Netherlands and Austria 1-2 Turkey played last night and it is Turkey and the Netherlands who go through to the quarter finals. It is the first time in 16 years that the Netherlands have reached the quarter finals of the tournament. Turkey are in the quarter finals for the first time since 2008 and the quarter finals start to kick off on Friday evening.

The second day of the Wimbledon action continued yesterday and Andy Murray has made the decision to play in the tournament, but he will only be taking part in the doubles and will not be taking part in the singles, after he had back surgery just 10 days ago. He has decided to make his farewell to the All England Club and last appearance at Wimbledon alongside his brother Jamie. Jack Draper took Andy Murray's slot last night in the singles and the 22 year old took to victory with a five-set success on Centre Court.
