Today there is racing on the flat at Newmarket, Carlisle, Doncaster, Newbury and Epsom. In Ireland, There is a flat fixture at Leopardstown. No runners for the stable.

Racegoers at last nights evening fixtures observed a minute's silence and the jockeys wore black armbands and they will repeat the same action today at the meetings being held, as the racing community pulls together to support popular racing commentator John Hunt after the devastating and most tragic incident that took place on Tuesday. The racing community always comes together as one in tough times and will continue to throughout this and our thoughts are of course with John and his family.

Yesterday in the football England will take on Spain in the final of the Euros on Sunday, after a last-minute strike from substitute Ollie Watkins sealed victory over the Netherlands. It now means that Gareth Southgate's team are just one game away from ending the long so called "years of hurt" for the men's team stretching back to 1966 World Cup win under Sir Alf Ramsey. I do think they have a lot to do to beat Spain as they've shown to be the most impressive in this tournament, but it's exciting for England to be in final.

The Wimbledon action continued and Lorenzo Musetti called it a 'magic day' as he won against opponent Taylor Fritz in five sets to secure a Wimbledon semi-final with seven-time champion Novak Djokovic. There is also guaranteed to be a British Player in the men's doubles final, after Neal Skupski and Henry Patten both claimed victories with their respective partners to set up a meeting in the last four.

What did the worker at the rubber band factory say when he was fired?
