It is another day with no jumps racing with flat fixtures hosted at Newmarket, York, Ascot, and Chepstow. In Ireland, they race over both codes over the flat in Dundalk, and over jumps in Kilbeggan.

Today we have one runner at Chepstow, Rebel Angel who runs in the 8:45pm Handicap over 1mile 4f with Finley Marsh riding. She ran well at Salisbury last time out where she finished third which was an improvement on her run before that, she galloped all the way to the line, so if she runs in the same form today, she will go well. There are a couple of nice horses in this race, the Ed Dunlop trained Walter Hartright who won his last two races easily and the Nikki Evans trained Cherryhawk who is a course and distance winner are the ones most fancied in the betting, with Rebel Angel currently around 9/1.

The Falmouth Stakes, which takes place at 3:35pm at Newmarket, could feature an exciting clash between Royal Ascot winners Porta Fortuna and Running Lion. In Ireland, Kilbeggan is the headline jumps meeting of the day with the Listed Midlands National at 7:55pm; Trainer Gordon Elliot has six runners in the race.

The weather at Wimbledon was looking much more promising yesterday as they had glorious sunshine from the recent rain bursts. It was a record breaking semi-final yesterday as Jasmine Paolini and Donna Vekic went through the emotions and played the longest women's semi-final in the tournaments history, the game lasted two hours and 51 minutes. Paolini had never won a match here before July and she has now won six in a row, but I expect nothing quite as nerve wracking as this one!

The Men's singles semi-final's take place today with Daniil Medvedev vs. Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti vs. Novak Djokovic.
