Newton Abbot unfortunately had to abandon their meeting yesterday, due to the rain that we received in the morning and a yellow weather warning issued, so our runners that we were set to have there will have to wait for another day and hope we do receive some sort of summer this year!

Today we have one runner on the flat at Beverley, who had to pass an inspection which it did this morning. Coltor runs in the 4:30pm Handicap over 2miles with Jason Hart on board. He makes his switch back to the flat; he has form on the flat before coming to us. On his return run back from a break, he ran well at Worcester and showed up well for a long way before getting tired. He has come on for that run and although he has top weight in this contest, he should run well.

No jumps racing today with the flat meetings at Nottingham and Kempton and of course Beverley. In Ireland, it is a day’s break for the jumps as the flat action continues at Killarney.

ITV are gearing up for the new racing documentary, which is set to show the first episode on ITV1 Friday at 9pm. They are hoping to be making a number of series to it and I do think and hope this will help the sport in engaging with a new audience and having the vision's behind the scenes broadcasted.
