Sunday is here and we have two runners at one of our local tracks Newton Abbot who will be glad to have racing on today after abandoning their last meeting last week, due to the track being waterlogged in places.
First up we have Final Entry who runs in the 2:05pm Juvenile Hurdle over 2miles 1f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He makes his stable debut today for us after purchasing him from Jessie Harrington’s yard, he is a full-brother to Mr Tambourine Man and we liked the look of him. He’s run twice over in Ireland and does look like he is a bit of a character, but he has settled into life at Pond House well and it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on today.
Our other runner of the day is Kintaro in the 2:35pm Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 2 1/2f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He ran a lovely race last time out to be second to the short priced favourite and he seems to have taken to his jumping well and looks to be a winner in waiting!
Other than jumps action at Newton Abbot, there is also a jumps card at Stratford. While on the flat, there is only action at Redcar. In Ireland, action continues on the flat at the Curragh.
Did you hear about the dolphin romance?
They really clicked!
Have a lovely Sunday!
