Today there is jumps racing at one of our local tracks Newton Abbot and there is also a jumps meeting at Perth. The flat fixtures are at Brighton and Wolverhampton, while in Ireland there is jump racing at Galway.

The stable heads to Newton Abbot today after it passed it's inspection this morning with two runners, who actually run in the same race. Final Entry runs in the 3:50pm Juvenile Hurdle over 2miles 1f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He won over course and distance when last seen over jumps in July, he has since had a run on the flat and he ran well enough which could open up new avenues in the future. Hopefully he will appreciate his return to hurdling and runs well.

Saucats is our other runner in the race with Gearoid Harney riding and he will be making his stable debut for us and in Britain. He was due to run recently but wasn't quite right, but he's had a few runs in France prior to coming to us and has finished second over there, today will help us learn a bit more about him.

Yesterday saw the last day of the Paralympics in Paris and Team GB finished off with a total of 124 medals from the games, which is a fantastic achievement. They matched their overall medal total from the Tokyo games three years ago, but won 8 more golds in Paris. The games concluded with a sparkling closing ceremony last night.

In the cricket today, in the Women's One Day International Series, the Irish women team are up against the England Women's team with the match being set to take place at 10:45am in Belfast.
