          Oceanline Worcester winner!
Jump racing having another little break with no jumps meeting until Monday, it's a bit of a weird time waiting for the jumping to kick off again properly in October. But the flat meetings are at Doncaster, Epsom and Newcastle. Ffos Las was also meant to be on today, but was abandoned Tuesday afternoon due to standing water on the track. No runners for the yard today.

Yesterday was a busy day for the yard, but a brilliant start with Oceanline our first runner of the evening winning, by a short head! It was good to see him back up his win at Worcester last time out and the slight drop in trip didn't cause any issues for him. Back In The Bay never really looked to get into a rhythm like we'd hope she would, but the start was a bit messy which wouldn't have helped, we know she's better than this.

Micronormous ran very well to finish third and only beaten by 1 1/2 lengths, she was returning from a break and looked to be fairly enthusiastic throughout, but it lovely to see her back on the track and she will improve from that but it was a good start. Kintaro was our last runner, he ran another nice race and battled all the way to the line, the ground was probably a tad softer for him than ideal and I think he would improve with a step up in trip also.

Had to feel for young conditional jockey Elizabeth Gale, after receiving a ban for 28 days from her ride on Catuaba, after mistaking the half furlong pole for the winning line. It was a genuine mistake and something she will learn from for future, but it has happened at Worcester a few times before, could be something that Worcester could look at for future even potentially removing the half furlong post altogether to help minimize the chances of these things happening.

How do you tell the difference between a bull or a cow?

It's either one or the udder!

Happy Thursday!
