Thursday Trio

             Bashful Boy runs today!
Lots of racing action on today as there are two jumps fixtures being at Warwick and Southwell, while on the flat there is also plenty covered at Salisbury, Chelmsford and Newcastle. In Ireland, they race over both codes with the flat card at Bellewstown and a jumps card at Clonmel. 

Today we have three runners which spiral over three different meetings and both codes! First up we head to Warwick for the 1:23pm Novices' Hurdle over 2miles with Skin Full and Tom Bellamy riding. He returns from a summer break and looks to have everything to do today, but he is a nice horse that may want further in time. Our next runner is Bashful Boy who runs at Southwell in the 4:10pm Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 4 1/2f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He ran his best race for a while at Fontwell but did finish a little weakly but this was more of a step in the right direction and hopefully he can return to the form we know he is capable of. 

Then we head to Salisbury for our last runner on the flat - Kolisi who runs in the 4:20pm Handicap over 1mile 2f with Callum Hutchinson in the saddle. He returns to action from a lengthy time off so this run will sharpen him up for a jumping campaign, but he has form on the flat and has won at Salisbury before and although he may not completely enjoy the heavy conditions, this looks a good starting point for him. He runs in David's name today, but is actually available on free lease for the season, if you would like any information - please do get in touch!

Last night in the football Aston Villa scored victory over Bayern Munich finishing with a 1-0 result. Jhon Duran emerged from the bench in dramatic fashion once more to take the winning goal at the home pitch. Tonight Man U play Porto at 8pm.
