Welsh Champion Hurdle

After a busy couple of days with plenty of runners, we have no runners for the stable today. There is jumps racing at Ffos Las and on the flat there is action coming from Goodwood, in Ireland they race over both codes with the jumps coming from Cork and the flat meeting at Naas. 

The DragonBet Welsh Champion Hurdle takes place today which is the feature on the Ffos Las card and stages at 3:55pm. There are plenty looking to take the prize. Goodwood also holds an interesting race of the Alderbrook Handicap for professional jump jockeys which is the first race on the card at 1:50pm and 10 of them get involved today, these races are always a bit of fun to watch and always seems to be highly supported from the jump jockeys.

Internationally, one of the world's most unique races the Velka Pardubicka, takes place. The famous and daunting Czech contest over some weird and wonderful cross-country obstacles has been targeted this year by Gordon Elliott with Coko Beach. James Best also looks to have taken the trip over and rides Zataro for Marian Stangel.

In the football today England are playing in the Group 2 of the UEFA Nations League and are up against Finland at 5:00pm.
