It's a wet start to the day and the racing action today comes from Market Rasen with a jumps card, while the flat cards come from Leicester, Yarmouth and Newcastle. In Ireland, they have jumping action today at Punchestown. The stable have no runners today.

Yesterday we made the trip to Hereford with two runners. Lock Out ran in the second race on the card and we tried to follow up a quick reappearance after his win at Chepstow on Friday but he didn't look to enjoy the sharper track and a slight drop in trip but he kept galloping all the way to the line and returning to a more galloping track will be more to his liking. Ben Lilly was our other runner at Hereford and looked to get slightly outpaced from 3 out, the track may have been a little quick for him yesterday and he would prefer the ground conditions to be slightly softer.

It was great to see Daryl Jacob return to the winners enclosure and get off the mark for the season at Hereford after recently returning to the saddle from a lengthy time on the side-lines. He mentioned that this will definitely be his final season in the saddle as a jockey and he has also mentioned he will spend the majority of his season over in Ireland and continue the relationship between Simon Munir and Isaac Souede which will be their 11th year in partnership.

Over on the flat, it was great to see Henrietta Knight back in the winners enclosure since 2015 with her runner Cotswold Cottage, which provided her first winner since returning to the training ranks recently. This was Henrietta's 73rd runner since returning back and won nicely in the end by three lengths and I'm sure it will be the first of many!

Did you hear about the dolphin romance?

They really clicked!

Happy Tuesday!
