            Ocean Heights runs today!
It's been a busy weekend for racing with lots going on and today there is jumps cards coming from Plumpton and Hereford, while on the flat the meetings come from Kempton, Wolverhampton and Southwell. There is no racing in Ireland today.

Two runners for the stable today over both codes. Ocean Heights runs at Kempton in the Series Final at 2:57pm over 1mile 3f with Darragh O'Sullivan riding who is a young jockey with a bright future, it's a competitive race today but he has won over the distance twice last winter and likes the track so shouldn't be ruled out to run a nice race. We then head over to the jumps at Plumpton where Bashful Boy runs in the 4:10pm Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 4f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He ran well in the Cesarewitch last time out and his last run over hurdles was a step back in the right direction so hoping he can build on that here today.

Over the weekend we had just the one runner, which was Neon Moon at Ascot on Saturday who run in the Sodexo Live Gold Cup and he ran another solid race finishing third in what was a very competitive field and galloped all the way to the line. He improved again from his run at Chepstow and it's nice to see him continuing the good form.

It was an action filled weekend for racing with plenty going on, the Breeders' Cup took the main interest and it wasn't to be for Aidan O'Brien's City Of Troy as he looked to bow out on a victory for one last time and there were questions whether he would enjoy the surface, he always seemed to be on the back foot and it looked like his chances had been ended right from the start. The Coolmore team were not left disappointed as they were still in the winners enclosure with Sierra Leone who stroke victory in the race.

I was personally pleased to hear that jump jockey Daryl Jacob reached his 1,000th jump winner in Britain, Ireland and France over the weekend aboard Ottizzini at Ayr. He returned from injury last month and I know it's something he's been desperate to achieve and has been waiting on it since the backend of last year so I'm glad it's finally paid off!

On Saturday the Charlie Hall Chase took centre stage at Wetherby, where The Real Whacker returned to cheers as he took 1st place from the favourite Bravemansgame. It was a special victory as jockey, Brian Hughes dedicated it to Graham Lee in a tearful interview afterwards. Harry Cobden has mentioned that Bravemansgame was a long way off his best and that he would maybe now like to try some headgear moving forward.

Why doesn't Dracula have any friends?

Well to be quite honest, he's a real pain in the neck!

Happy Monday!
