Vision De Maine wins at Lingfield!
It's a quiet day for the stable today with no runners, but the jumps racing comes from Bangor-On-Dee and Ayr. The flat action comes from Lingfield and Southwell both with all-weather action and in Ireland, they race on the all-weather at Dundalk.
Yesterday we were at Lingfield with just the one runner, Vision De Maine who won for the second time over fences bringing up our 28th win for the season so far. He showed an excellent staying performance under a good ride from Jack Tudor and he just looks more at home over fences and just looks to keep improving.
Willie Mullins first runner at Bangor was a winner and he looks to return to Wales today with Space Tourist who runs in the Mares' Novice Chase at 12:55pm, Gordon Elliot also has one representing with Shecouldbeanything who is looking to complete a four timer. The British opposition is lead by previous Cheltenham Festival winner, You Wear It Well for the Jamie Snowdon team.
With the Cheltenham November meeting approaching this weekend, two rounds of watering have taken place at the course with racecourses in Britain still experiencing an unusual period of dry weather. The stationary weather has allowed the racecourse to continue with watering with confidence with some rain unlikely to appear at least until the latter part of next week. Many trainers have voiced their frustration at the lack of rain and its impact on the field sizes, while last week at Exeter there was a walkover in the Novice Chase.
What's black and white and goes round and round?
A penguin in the washing machine!
Happy Wednesday!
