Neon Moon runs today at Ludlow
There is plenty of racing action happening today with jumps action coming from Newbury, Ludlow and Lingfield with the flat action coming from Kempton on the all-weather with and evening card. They're back racing in Ireland, with all-weather action coming from Dundalk this evening also.

We head to Ludlow today with just the one runner which is Neon Moon, who runs in the 12:50pm Handicap Chase over 3miles with Jack Tudor riding. His run last time out was not quite to his recent form, but that was a competitive class 1 field and he comes here today to a track he has run well at in the past in calmer company. The conditions will suit him today and fingers crossed he can run well.

Yesterday at Wincanton, Skin Full didn't quite run to the same ability as he showed last time out, he just looked like he found the pace a little too quick for his liking so maybe back to a further trip will suit next time. River Run Free couldn't quite quicken with the pace, he has form over further distances so a step up in trip looks to suit in the future for him also and maybe even softer conditions. Yggdrasil ran well for a long way and was returning from a lengthy absence. He looks like he still holds plenty of ability and he will improve from this run going forwards.

Patrick Mullins made his first trip to Catterick yesterday to ride in the Amateur Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle, it was a winning visit for him as he finished fifth on the Ryan Potter trained Ithaka, but hasn't ruled out returning to the track again in the future. The winner of the race was Be The Difference for the Philip Kirby stable, which was ridden by Shay Halton and provided plenty of attention as the horse was back in the winners enclosure after three years and was 30 lengths clear with only three hurdles left! the win was Shay Halton's second ride over hurdles.

Why are Christmas trees bad at knitting?

They always drop their needles!

Have a great Wednesday!
