Today the jumps action is coming from Ascot and Uttoxeter both with some smart looking horses in the line up and the all-weather action comes from Southwell and an evening card at Wolverhampton. The all-weather action continues in Ireland at Dundalk.

Yesterday at Exeter Tuxedo Junction continued with the seconditious that we seem to not be able to shrug off at the moment! He ran well and travelled well throughout and he just keeps bumping into one at the moment, he keeps improving each time and hopefully it won't be long before he can get his head in front. Pachacuti ran well for a long way but the ground looked to be quite hard work yesterday and I think slightly better conditions may suit him next time. Back Yourself was returning from a lengthy absence and it was an underwhelming performance and he made things quite hard work for fly early on! We know he is better than that as he shows at home.

Itseemslikeit unfortunately sustained a little cut yesterday while schooling and won't be able to run as planned, so we head to Ascot with Windbeneathmywings who makes his debut for Pond House in the 3:40pm Bumper over 1mile 7½f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He has ran in three bumpers over in Ireland and has good form winning two and second in the other. He is a nice looking type and should handle conditions here just fine. This is a tough starting place, but we like him and he has shown a nice attitude since joining us.

Yesterday at Ffos Las, trainer Alison Thorpe celebrated her first winner for more than 12 and a half years when Karuma Grey ridden by Shane Fenelon won by just over 3 lengths and defied the odds of 100-1 when making his stable debut for the team. Alison returned to the training ranks in September and this was her 14th runner since her comeback.

Harry Cobden returns to action today at Ascot after being absent since Sunday and he looks to have some nice rides today. Talking on jockeys returning from absence, Daryl Jacob was back riding at Exeter yesterday since breaking his collarbone and he heads to Uttoxeter today for two rides. With Christmas only a few days away, entries for Boxing Day will be made today with 7 jumps cards planned and just Wolverhampton who will cover the flat action.

Away from the racing action, at the London Horse Show tonight the jockeys take on the show jumping which is always an amusing thing to watch! It's great fun for everyone involved and I recommend tuning in to anyone - It's easily watched from the BBC iPlayer or you can usually find it on the red button
