         Walkadina runs today at Wincanton
Well I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, the racing is back today and there is a lot of action happening from all over with the jumps racing dominating the most with 7 meetings. They all come from Wincanton, Kempton, Sedgefield, Market Rasen, Aintree, Wetherby and Fontwell. The all-weather action comes from Wolverhampton while in Ireland, there are three jumps cards coming from Down Royal, Leopardstown and Limerick.

It is a busy day for the stable as we have six runners throughout the day, spread across four different meetings. At Wincanton, Walkadina runs in the 12:53pm Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle over 1mile 7f with David Noonan riding. She drops down in class slightly after a good effort finishing fourth at Newbury last time out; she is a nice mare who should run well.

Vision De Maine runs in the 2:03pm Handicap Chase over 3miles 1f with David Noonan riding, he is taking on some stronger competition today; but he is in good form at home and could continue his good runs. First Lord De Cuet reverts to hurdling in the Pertemps Qualifier at 2:38pm over 3miles ½f with David Noonan on board. He likes Wincanton, but would need to improve from his seasonal reappearance.

Over at Sedgefield, Kingston Queen is our sole runner there and she runs in the 3:10pm Mares’ Bumper over 2miles 1f with Gearoid Harney riding. She has run well in two starts to date for us, finishing second to a nice horse at Plumpton last time. She has a great attitude and this looks a good opportunity for her to try to get her head in front.

American Sniper makes the trip up to Wetherby to run in the 2:45pm Handicap Hurdle over 2miles 5f with Callum Pritchard in the saddle. He was a little keen in first time blinkers at Cheltenham, so we revert to cheek pieces on this occasion. As long as the ground is not too testing, he will hopefully go close.

Gentleman Toboot is our sole runner at Fontwell and runs in the 3:27pm Bumper over 2miles 1½f with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He finished third on debut at Newton Abbot; he is a horse we hold in high regard. He looks to be a horse for the future, but he holds a strong chance here today.

Eyes will be closely on Kempton Park this afternoon as Constitution Hill is back and it's the showdown everyone has been longing to see with Lossiemouth also showing up in the Christmas Hurdle line up. Putting State Man aside, Lossiemouth will be the best horse that Constitution Hill has faced and with a 12 month break from his last run, it'll be interesting to see which way this goes.

Lots of eyes will be closely watching the Wincanton card as Oisin Murphy makes his jumping debut, he rides for Neil Mulholland in the 2:38pm. This will be his first start over the jumps and with his sister being general manager at the course he will be looking to make his only ride of the day a winning one! Dougie Costello who has actually had top-level success over both codes before also returns to jumping today with two rides at Market Rasen.

What did one snowman say to the other snowman?

You're cool!

Happy Boxing Day!
