It looks like a good day of action at Exeter this afternoon and the stable has three runners in the Pertemps handicap hurdle qualifier including the return of people's champion Lough Derg, who as usual is burdened topweight.  High class ex-French chaser Or Noir de Somoza also lines up as well as Quinte du Chatelet who returns from a 614 day absence...one thing is for sure he will like the prevailing going!

Talking of Quinte du Chatelet, I was down on the gallops earlier in the week and took a picture of him working with new recruit Rose Of The Moon as he completed his preparation ahead of today's engagement.  While I was there I also photographed War Singer working upsides Decoy (who has an entry at Cheltenham on Friday).

The new series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here should certainly make for interesting viewing since it was announced that Willie Carson is to appear on the reality show.  The thing with little Willie is that he will be able to hide and the rest of his camp mates won't be able to find him...I think his BBC colleague Clare Balding hit the nail on the head when she said "he's not scared of anything and he will wind people up".  Can you believe that Willie and Clare have been invited to participate in Strictly Come Dancing?...it's just as well the cackling Scot turned down the offer, otherwise he would have been sticking his nose into other people's business!

What a decision world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has to make this afternoon.  He is currently suffering with an injured shoulder, but all he needs to do is turn up today and lose in Paris to collect a cool $1million bonus...it must be a difficult moral decision to make.  Personally, I would turn up on a stretcher, but having said that, these tennis players are already so rich that he probably doesn't need the money...what odds about him turning up?

I see that X Factor bad boy Frankie Cocozza was yesterday booted out of the competition.  I was wondering how he ever found the time to sing - every newspaper has photographs of him living it up at some party or other, or in a car park with some nubile young blonde!...What do you mean I sound jealous?!
